| WAIT
Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried: Quietly, patiently, lovingly God replied. I plead and I wept for a clue to my fate, And the Master so gently said, "Child, you must wait." "Wait? You say, wait!" my indignant reply. "Lord, I need answers, I need to know why! Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard? By Faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word. My future and all to which I can relate hangs in the balance, and YOU tell me to WAIT? I'm needing a 'yes', a go-ahead sign, or even a 'no' to which I can resign. And Lord, You promised that if we believe we need but to ask, and we shall receive. And Lord, I've been asking, and this is my cry: I'm weary of asking! I need a reply! Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate As my Master replied once again, "You must wait".
So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut and grumbled to God, "So, I'm waiting...for what?" He seemed, then, to kneel, and His eyes wept with mine, And he tenderly said, "I could give you a sign. I could shake the heavens, and darken the Sun. I could raise the dead, and cause mountains to run. All you seek, I could give, and pleased you would be. You would have what you want But, you wouldn't know Me. You'd not know the depth of My love for each saint; You'd not know the power that I give to the faint; You'd not learn to see through the clouds of despair; You'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there; You'd not know the joy of resting in Me; When darkness and silence were all you could see. You'd never experience that fullness of love As the peace of My Spirit descends like a dove; You'd know that I give and I save...(for a start), But you'd not know the depth of the beat of My heart. The glow of My comfort late into the night, The faith that I gave when you walk without sight, The depth that's beyond getting just what you asked Of an infinite God, who makes what you have LAST. You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee, What it means that "My grace is sufficient for Thee." Yes, your dreams for your loved one overnight would come true, But, Oh, the Loss! If I lost what I'm doing in you! So, be silent, My Child, and in time you will see That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me. And though oft' may My answers seem terribly late, My most precious answer of all is still, "WAIT".
And so i am now praying and waiting...

The last few months have been a bomb and so much fun, as you can see, there are not that many photos of books or studying or anything related to study, so you can just put one and one together. But i think the one of me sleeping was becoz of studying. Hahahhahahahaha. Leave your thoughts! Comments? Perks?

| Okay... Let me update you ALL on whats happening. Yes, i have finally found the time to type it all out. Kinda. I'm actaully in the Computer lab waiting for my constitution to print and although it is a laser printer, its printing double sided and so its taking a while.
Its now the NINTH week of my first semester at the Australian National University doing a combined degree of Actuarial Studies and Law.
Yes, its all true. Canberra is small and rural and has more trees than a city should but its ALL GOOD! Man, im actaully enjoying it alot more tahn people think. The uni itself is pretty big (due to the excess of land that Canberra has) and is pretty scenic comparitively to all teh other unis ive seen and been to.
Uni life is, ummm, busy to say the least. there is so much work to be done yet no one ever does it. For law ive got to read a stack of cases per week just to understand whats going on in lectures and i cant stress enoguh how much i have fallen behind in maths where i just usually sit there and listen to how Steve, our lecturer, goes on and on about how this number relates to this number. Of course, the work is manageable. It's just that i live at college and alot of things just seem to get in the way of me and my books.
College life. Hahahaha. what can i say. Its like te boarding house without the tutors, the curfews, the restrictions. The colllege im at is called Fenner Hall and is self catered, in other words, we have to cook for ourselves. For those who didn't know that i already started cooking by myself in Cranbrook might think that this is some what a chore, but seriosuly, it is soooo much fun. I made chinese soup the other day, like with chicken bones, chinese veggies, corn...etc and then we also made pancakes and pineapple fritters topped off by 4 litres of vanilla icecream as our midnight snack desssert thing. Hahhaa.
When i say 'we' i refer to the group of friend that i have grown kinda close to over here. And they are all international students! Lets see... a couple come from HK, 1.5 come from singapore, 1.5 come from malaysia (the halves refer to a person born in malaysia but then grew up in singapore), couple comes from china, and also an Aussie girl who studies chinese and can read characters better than i can!
Fun fun fun fun fun fun. Hahahha. Lots of fun. We've been on picnics, paddleboating, shopping, mahjong, steamboat, late night movies, chat sessions, counselling sessions, and of course cooook.
Life for now is definately full of action and fun. And since now that my constitution and my economics notes have finished printing. I'm going back to my friends room. Hahaha, i probably spend more time there than my own room.
Catch ya all laters!!!!!!
